To help its members comply with these requirements, the CHTA has partnered with Springboard Caribbean to provide internationally accredited HACCP certification workshops. Members’ benefits include:
- Workshop Cost: $396 USD per participant, a saving of $99 USD over the standard price of this 3-day workshop.
- Location: Workshops provided locally at member’s property, or at a central location in conjunction with the NHTA.

Through a hands-on approach, key supervisors and managers will become formally HACCP certified, and develop the knowledge and skills to:
- Respond effectively to tour operator health & safety and food hygiene audits
- Train their organization’s food handlers in food safety and sanitation standards
- Help their organizations meet legislative requirements and establish a "due diligence" defense in the event of an incident
- Undertake internal food safety audits to ensure food hygiene standards are being maintained
- Develop a HACCP plan for their respective organizations
- Develop and maintain the organization’s Food Safety Management System
