Workshop Overview
Springboard Caribbean has collaborated with the Small Business Development Centre (SBDC), a department within the Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment and Consumer Affairs, to offer its members the HACCP Implementation Workshop at a significantly discounted price.
HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a system of checks and procedures that ensures that food handled by business operators is safe for customers to eat. This workshop, designed specifically for small businesses, will not only help you implement best-in-class practice, but also help you meet your legal requirements for the production, distribution and sale of safe food.
Implementation of a HACCP-based Food Safety Management System will improve customer confidence in your products, and is usually a pre-condition of other businesses entering a trading relationship with you. This workshop provides you with a simple step-by-step approach to implementing your own system. At its conclusion, you will have your company’s own Food Safety Management System manual to take away with you.
Certification and Support (Optional)
For a small additional charge, you may wish to take the 30 minute multiple-choice examination at the end of the workshop, to obtain your UK accredited certification from the Royal Society of Public Health (RSPH). Alongside this, for a period of time after the workshop, Springboard Caribbean will provide you with the support you need to ensure your system is effectively implemented at your place of business.

Small business owners and managers of any business involved in the manufacture, distribution, retailing and catering of food products.
Price
$350 ECD for SBDC members (reduced from $620 ECD). This includes tuition, certification, materials and a personal implementation manual. Optional cost of $70 ECD for RSPH UK accredited examination and certification.
