Interpreting Key Financial Statements to Improve Your Bottom Line

Diploma in Management and Leadership

Leadership Development Workshops

Course Overview

Many new supervisors and managers are confident in their ability to undertake operational tasks, but frequently shy away from understanding the underlying financial numbers of their departments.

Using a pragmatic and contextualised approach, this course reduces the fear of using numbers in operating their department. It uses real world examples to demystify key financial statements, allowing managers and supervisors to apply what is learned to improve the operations of their department. Participants gain the confidence required to discuss the information contained within financial reports with other managers, including the General Manager and the business’s financial controller.

This is an informative, interactive and engaging workshop, specifically designed for supervisors, managers and anyone responsible for improving the financial performance of their department.

Testimonial

“The delivery of the programme was interactive with highly committed, enthusiastic and professional trainers. As the General Manager I was particularly pleased to see my team all “fired up” with some of them finding the confidence to implement long needed changes to the way they managed even before the programme ended.

I would definitely recommend Springboard for their flexibility, affordability and high professional standards.”
