This 3 hour programme ensures that food production, food distribution and F&B supervisors and managers are able to maximise the benefits gained from trained staff and well defined food safety SOPs.

It is recommended that all supervisors and managers, irrespective of their area of responsibility, understand how to effectively communicate and enforce adherence to the key food safety standard operating procedures in the organisation.


The aim of this training programme is to ensure that all participating Supervisors and Managers:

1) Gain a good insight into the purpose, operation and maintenance of each of the Food Safety SOPs relevant to their specific area of responsivity

2) Understand how to effectively communicate the associated procedures and practices to their staff

3) Are able to effectively monitor adherence to the procedures and are in a position to take corrective action when required

4) Are able to identify and address gaps in staff performance through training and other developmental activities

5) Can review and update the procedure in line with changes in the organization
