Springboard Training & Development Centre offers customised and UK accredited programmes for first line managers and leaders within both the private and public sector.
Springboard’s most popular programme has been its “Introduction to First Line Management” which has been designed to equip supervisors and first line managers with the knowledge and skills that will empower them to apply effective managerial and leadership behaviours to maximise individual and organisational performance.
The programme recognises that many supervisors and managers may have been promoted into positions without formal supervisory and leadership training and addresses this through the use of underpinning management theory, the application of business models and the use of practical tools and techniques.
This programme is delivered through the following four units of one day duration each:
- Understanding your role and responsibilities as a manager and leader
- Understanding how to motivate staff in order to drive performance
- Learn how to set goals and implement effective performance management systems
- Managing disciplinary and grievance.
Springboard is also an approved centre with VTCT and is accredited to offer the following qualifications:
- VTCT Level 3 Award in Hospitality Supervision and Leadership Principles
- VTCT Level 3 Award in Management and Leadership (QCF)
